Job Description

• Develops and maintains project data model.

• Manages and supports databases including developing required queries and stored procedures

• Lead effort to create a comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data model for the business

• Mentor / coach colleagues on SQL

• Actively participate in design meetings, workshops

• Lead periodic reviews of data quality

Capabilities

• Subject matter expert in the area of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling

• Identify enhancement opportunities in an existing data model

• Able to write SQL queries and stored procedures using the PL/SQL

• Ability to interpret Conceptual Data Model into Logical and Physical Data models

• Deep understanding of more than one particular database management system employed

• Exposure into non-traditional data modeling techniques, e.g., NoSQL, Graph databases

• Created conceptual and logical model that was translated into a physical model for a business project

• Used programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, etc.) to generate a physical data model for a business project

• Experience architecting conceptual, logical, and physical design of a production warehouse environment for a business project

• Developed and optimize SQL Queries

• Managed and maintained the ingestion, execution, and performance of the data model for a business project

• Led, influenced, and designed the activities across the project team to ensure a logical data model met strategic business objectives
