Repair Industrialization Engineer to Support the industrialization of repair documentation for aero engine components

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creation and revision of Aerospace Manuals such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Engine Manual (EM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Split Engine Transportation Manual (SETM), Check & Repair Manual (CRM), Cleaning Inspection & Repair Manual (CIR).

• Creation and Revision of Repair Source substantiation documents, Repair Operation Sheet, Inspection Record Sheet

• Checking for Engine Manual revisions and incorporating changes in Repair documentations

• Coordinating with MRO shop and OEMs for Repair process registration, approvals and to get the repairs industrialized.

• Supporting repair development and implementation at repair shops and MROs.

Essential Skills

A proactive, energetic individual with extensive knowledge of :

• Gas turbine aeroengines, engine components and their function during engine operation

• Experience in Repair documentation process like information gathering, planning, content specification, content development, implementation and evaluation.

• Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair/service of aeroengines

• Various inspection methods including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques

• Various types of repairs which can be applied to components

• Various manufacturing techniques and their application during component repair.

Desired Skills

• Experience in engine assembly/ disassembly and build shop

• Knowledge of Gas Turbine engines and their functioning

• Knowledge on engine component repairs, especially on the special processes

• Experience working/supporting in an MRO shop and exposure to machines and facilities used for repairs

• Good hands on experience in using MS Office ( Word, Excel, Power Point and similar tools)

• Good understanding of engine manuals and their layout, etc.
