JobSummary:

Senior DataEngineer.  Responsible for implementing and supportinganalytic data models and data pipelines for multiple businessprocesses on the new 3M health care company’s data warehouse andbig data analytics infrastructure.

PrincipleResponsibilities: (essential job duties andresponsibilities)

• Implementdata models and curated datasets on a modern data warehouse anddata hub
• Interface directly with business andsystems subject matter experts to understand analytic needs anddetermine logical data modelrequirements
• Implement ETL processes betweendata warehouses and source systems
• Work closelywith data architects and senior analysts to identify common datarequirements and develop sharedsolutions
• Support data models and dataintegration solutions in production
• Support andmaintain data warehouse, ETL, and analyticplatforms

RequiredSkills andExperiences:

• Datawarehouse and ETLbackground
• Advanced SQLprogramming capabilities
• Backgroundin preparing data for analysis andreporting
• Experience with analytical tools fordata discovery, modeling, visualization, analysis, andreporting
• Success in a highly dynamicenvironment with ability to shift priorities withagility
• Ability to go from whiteboarddiscussion to code
• Willingness to explore andimplement new ideas and technologies
• Ability toeffectively communicate with technical and non-technicalaudiences
• Ability to work independently withminimalsupervision

MinimumQualifications:

• 6+years experience with SQL.Snowflake stronglypreferred.
• 6+years experience in data modeling design andimplementation
• 4+years experience with InformaticaIICS
• 4+ yearsexperience working directly with subject matter experts in bothbusiness and technologydomains
• 2+ yearsexperience with BI and analytic tools. PowerBI orTableau.

Nice-to-have:

• Experiencewith Machine Learning tools andprocesses
• Hands-on experience withPython

Education:

• Bachelor’sin Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, sciencediscipline, orsimilar
