You will join our Buildings department As our new Senior BIM Modeller– ELECTRICAL Buildings you will be part of our global High-Rise department, Ramboll’s dedicated team of high-rise experts which have designed over 150 tall building projects globally, including some of the most technically challenging. You would be responsible for leading our MEP engineers in the High-Rise department in Mumbai and supporting the global department which also has offices in Copenhagen, Dubai and Singapore. You would be primarily based in Mumbai and would be responsible for engaging with clients and architects, as well as for leading our MEP engineers to deliver innovative engineering designs for tall buildings using cutting-edge technology. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Mentor – Provides guidance and knowledge to juniors and works towards competence enhancement of another technician within the team
• Will coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.
• Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents in his projects
• Understanding of all aspects governing operational & up to date knowledge of the latest technological advancements, regulations/guidelines &statutory compliances in the industry.
• Effective resource planning/optimization with a focus on waste reduction, enhancing productivity & profitability; ability to use sound decision-making skills to effectively perform in a self-directed environment.
• Possessing valuable insights, keen analysis team approach to implement best practices, adept at working in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines &multiple deliverables.
• Technical expertise in Revit (BIM software), AutoCAD MEP, Nevis work, AutoCAD & familiar with BIM/CAD Standards, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ACAD – (2004 to 2012), Neviswork & Revit MEP 2009 to 2021.3D,4D Drawings.
• BIM MODELING, Coordination and Preparation BOQ.
• Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing draughting standards.
• Would assist in even distribution of work within the drafting team
• Will assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the drafting team
• Communicates the training and development needs to his supervisor
• Exercises self-discipline and work ethics
• Respect and follow company policies and procedures

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 8 to 12 years of professional experience ideally having worked on major Middle East , UK projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit is essential.
• Core Knowledge of Electrical & ELV.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit & Navisworks would be desirable
• Knowledge of 3D modeling of all services Electrical,
• Knowledge of 3D modeling of Mechanical, plumbing will be addon.
• Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, Experience in all stages of drawings such as Concept, Schematic, Detail design and GFC
• A robust knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services full co-ordination
• Must have knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and aware of Engineering terminology
• must have experience on international project

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Good level of written and spoken English
