Client is an MNC in Industrial equipment manufacturing and services. Position: Engineer – Mechanical Location: Chennai
Technical skills: Hands-on working knowledge on

• Mechanical engineering design, perform engineering calculations, Design Reviews (DFX), FEA – structural and dynamic analysis
• Material selection, Manufacturing processes, Global material standards and specifications
• Metric, Imperial Design Standards, GD&T, Stack-up analysis, Fits & Tolerances
• Purchased parts selection, specifications and calculations, Servo motor, electrical and controls elements selection
• CAD modeling and detailing – ISO, DIN and ANSI standards
• Exposure to machine building and commissioning; understanding of IIOT and Industry 4.0 will be an added advantage

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum of Twelve (12) years of experience in Industrial Machineries/Equipment and discrete product machineries, of which the last 5 years should be in the areas of design and development of machines, sub-systems or modules
• Experience in Printing, Packaging and Converting Machines OEM is preferable.

Mandatory Tool Skills:

• SolidWorks 2018 and above, CSWP’s preferred.
• EPDM and Infor XA applications as per client requirements
• Solidworks Simulation, ANSYS is an added advantage
• MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail, Logical and systematic problem-solving skills
• Team management, Teamworking skills, with ability to work on his own
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop the team for delivering results
• Time management, Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills in English, effectively communicate with client team at overseas
• Experience in conflict management and resolution
• Tech savvy and stay updated on technology advancements and latest design trends across industry platforms
