Job Summary:

A Social Media ninja is what we are looking for to join our team. As a social media manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, creating and managing social media content for the brand channels as well as influencer activities to drive engagement, and ultimately brand affinity. Overseeing all social media initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, positive customer experience and a strong know-how with yardsticks of success-measurement.

Job Responsibilities:

● Develop creative and engaging social media strategies

● Responsible for the monthly content calendar

● Coordination with internal & external stakeholders, regional teams, industry professionals and influencers to align social media content with the marketing and business goals

● Review performance of social media channels and suggest new ideas/strategies

● Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels

● Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms

● Research/competitive analysis to evaluate the latest trends and techniques and recommend improvements to increase performance

● Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement across all social media platforms

● Manage, motivate and coach co-workers on best content creation practices and drive collaboration across internal teams and departments

Job Requirements :

● 5-7 years work experience with digital/social media agencies

● Graduate/MBA in Marketing, English, Journalism, mass communication, mass media, PR, visual communication, or other relevant field

● Background in content creation and copywriting is a must

● Handled clients in the B2C segment

● Proven ability to build social media communities

● Knowledge of any vernacular language will be an added advantage

● Up to date with trends in content formats and social media

● Passionate about advertising
