We Ratan Iron Company one of the leading steel manufacturers & Supplier in south India. Our principal activity includes manufacturing & trading of Iron & Steel products as wholesale & retail basis. We are duly organized and established in the year 2016 as proprietorship firm. We hold two manufacturing units, M/s Lal Steel P Ltd, M/s Palakkad Steel P ltd, located at Palakkad dist of Kerala state, We are pioneer in manufacturing of steel Structural products for last Thirty Years.We deal with all ranges of MS structurals & pipes, GP/GI pipes, HR/CR Coils, TMT Bars, HR/CR Sheets, Color Coils, NPB & UC beams. Over the years with our continued service to the customers, we are certified with ISO 9001:2015 for our quality of service.

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Prepare annual budget
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Assistant
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• UG degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in iron & steel industry
• Extensive Knowledge in iron & steel products preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 – ₹22,000.00 per month
