Real-World Evidence (RWE) Analyst
Summary:
As an experienced Real-World Evidence (RWE) Analyst, you will leverage our cutting-edge healthcare data platform (accessing over 60 million lives in Asia, with ambitious growth plans across Africa and the Middle East) to deliver impactful clinical insights to our pharmaceutical clients. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from designing analyses to execution and delivery, within our agile data science team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a growing early-stage company focused on improving precision medicine and optimizing patient care for diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the design and execution of retrospective and prospective real-world research, including epidemiological and patient outcomes studies.
· Actively participate in problem-solving discussions by clearly defining issues and proposing effective solutions.
· Manage the day-to-day progress of assigned workstreams, ensuring seamless collaboration with the data engineering team on analytical requests.
· Provide timely and clear updates on project status to management and leadership.
· Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses, driven by project objectives and your intellectual curiosity.
· Ensure the quality and accuracy of analytical outputs, and contextualize findings by reviewing relevant published research.
· Synthesize complex findings into clear and compelling presentations and written reports (e.g., slides, documents).
· Contribute to the development of standards and best practices for future RWE analyses.
Requirements:
· Undergraduate or post-graduate degree (MS or PhD preferred) in a quantitative analytical discipline such as Epidemiology, (Bio)statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or Operations Research.
· 8+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
o Experience conducting research relevant to the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
· Proficiency in technical skills including SQL and at least one programming language (R, Python, or similar).
· Solid understanding of the healthcare/medical and pharmaceutical industries.
· Proven experience in managing workstream or project management activities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative partnerships.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
