Job Description

Senior Software Engineer

• Develop mechanisms to provide an optimal user experience when running our BA projects on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Work with the latest technologies around Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Participate in design and technical discussions
• Provide new features and functionality to our Golang based operator and container images
• Provide feature tests and further our continuous integration and delivery pipeline efforts
• Work closely with a distributed team in an agile manner
• Collaborate with our open source community

Required skills

• Experience with cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or alternatives.
• Experience with developing applications that run on OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Go programming experience
• Aptitude to learn quickly and solve issues as they arise
• Ability to work within a distributed team and communicate effectively
• Experience with shell scripting, GIT tools, Maven
• Experience contributing to an existing open source community

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience with Red Hat’s Process Automation Manager and Decision Manager, or their associated community projects, namely Kogito
• Experience with the Operator pattern and the Operator SDK
• Experience with Java programming
• Experience with agile methodologies
