The big picture about the role

Create the product marketing strategy and execute it
Your focus will be on user retention and revenue growth.
Own the go-to-market strategy and drive high-quality execution across internal & partner teams

About the opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Marketer to create and champion Reelo’s growth and lifecycle marketing efforts, helping our users understand and get the full value out of Reelo. This role is focused on driving results that contribute meaningfully to Reelo’s bottom line. In this role you’ll build a deep understanding of the customer, from account creation and activation to expansion and upgrades – and optimize key parts of that journey. You’ll own messaging across platforms, including email, whatsapp and in-product, and focus on created tailored journeys for all of Reelo’s segments (free, starter, growth). This is a highly cross-functional role that requires a close partnership with other teams. You’ll be the first person in this type of role, empowered to build the program from the ground up.
What you’ll do?
Educate our audience and customers on customer engagement and Reelo by creating educational product-led content to help merchants succeed with Reelo
Deeply understand the Reelo customer to understand key points in the customer journey and uncover insights that will drive activation and engagement
Optimize and add quality content for our website, blogs, videos, newsletters, in-product copy, drips etc and build engagement with our users across their lifecycle.
Develop value proposition and messaging for new features. Ensure all content is consistent in terms of Reelo’s brand voice, style & stays true to our messaging goal.
Orchestrate product launches and customer communications
Leverage data to monitor how people are using Reelo, inflection points in their experience, and how we can drive activation and engagement
Create campaigns that engage, nurture, and grow our user base from signup all the way through monetization
Partner closely with other teams — including data, product, marketing, and sales — to serve the most effective content possible, share and respond to feedback, and strengthen our customer-facing efforts across the board

You’re experienced with freemium business models and prior experience at lifecycle marketing – including impacting activation, upgrade, and retention metrics
You are able to distill complex information from multiple sources (other teams, customers, market, etc.) into clear, concise insights
You’re fascinated by how people behave in product experiences, and have a scientific mindset about how to make even small changes in decision-making
You have strong cross-functional skills, including working with data, product, content and operations partners
