Job Responsibilities :

.

Ensure effective materials support for timely and successful project take over by Planning and coordinating the activities with all concerned in the following area(s).

• Handling PO and Contract items receipt and GRN process

• Handling Tagging and Binning process

• Handling preservation process

• Materials issue for routine and project activities.

• Materials supply as per the demand on supply-chain.

• Provide effective logistics and administrative support for the timely and successful project takeover.

• Coordinate materials movements and availability at warehouses as per Schedule.

• Coordination for Infrastructure build-up at warehouses.

• Coordination to ensure related actions is taken related to local & state taxes/ permits for movement of the material.

• Organize availability of the material in co-ordination with Procurement/ Budget control/ Construction teams.

• Organize logistics and material handling resources, such as trailers, cranes, manpower, lifting tools/ tackles.

• Coordinate with concerned so that warehouse is established with proper receipt of spares.

• Scrap disposal

• Coordinate for material issue, binning, storage, preservation, transfer, issue & reconciliation of material.

• Conducting Physical verification self-audit.

• Other warehouse process to be handled as per the materials management procedure.

  B) Systems & Procedures:

  I. Ensure the Compliance of Systems & procedures related to Material & Logistics Management.

• Monitoring the overall performance of the Materials management through quality objectives. Ensure the related corrective/ preventive actions for the same.

Education Requirement :

• The incumbent should be Diploma in Engineering or Graduate with Diploma Materials Management with 3-6 years# experience in Warehouse

• Besides above qualifications, it is desirable that the candidate has relevant Knowledge on Material Management.

Experience Requirement :

• 3-6 years# relevant experience in Warehouse
