Job Responsibilities :
.

• Manage issue/receipt and for respective category to ensure availability of right material as per plant#s requirements
• Ensure compliance to statutory / regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with inventory management team at site stores to ensure optimum inventory level for the respective category material
• Monitor liquidation of surplus and obsolete materials
• Assist site stores lead in optimization and continuous improvement initiatives for site materials
• Establish and co-ordinate good inter-departmental relationship with customer orientation
• Adhere to HSEF, Statutory guidelines and compliances

Store Engineer oversee and supervise the regular business of warehouse and logistics to meet project requirement using effective and updated methodologies in practice.

Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities).

Receipt and Issue of materials

Scrutinizing dispatch documents on arrival of incoming consignments and ensuring that the materials are in line with the purchase order.

Also ensure that the dispatch documents contain authorized and valid road permits.

Verify physical quantities and quality that match with challan vis-à-vis Purchase order.

Inform user for inspection and prepare discrepancy report.

Prepare weekly report of material received.

Material safe handling and storage to avoid any deterioration.

Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) for the accepted quantity in SAP system.

Inform supplier / transporter / buyer for discrepancy and lodge provisional claim.

Arrange surveyor in Coordinating with Buyer / Insurance team for survey of loss.

Acquainted with general provisions of transportation and Insurance laws.

Conversant with MM Module of SAP system.

Manage stock control and reconcile with SAP system.

Appraise Management about constraints & critical requirement of warehouse.

Preparing Purchase Requisitions for materials and contracts required for warehouse in line with the approved budget

Ensuring proper preservation of inventory during storage.

Ensuring timely issue of materials to site in close coordination with users.

Preparing daily material receipt statement and circulate to all concerned.

Ensuring full compliance of HSE norms and practices during material handling

Arrange perpetual stock verification and resolve discrepancies if any

Preparing warehouse & logistics budget and submit to warehouse lead for approval.

Qualification:

• BE / B Tech Degree with Diploma in Materials Management / Supply chain / Logistics

Experience:
4 – 6 years of relevant experience

Manage multiple interfaces with project group, material handling contractors & service providers

Maintain objectivity and confidentiality as required by the situation.

Education Requirement :
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

• Full Time Bachelor#s Degree (Preferably Mechanical Engineering)

Experience Requirement :
Overall experience 3-6 years out of which desired experience in relevant E&M direct field experience (preferably in rotary of petrochemical/refinery) and in functions like like Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Material, Automation, Material Handling, System, Procurement, Contracts etc.

Skills & Competencies :

• Familiarity with petrochemical/refinery equipment#s and Standard Maintenances practices & reliability.
• Knowledge of quality needs related to E&M materials.
• Exposure of Equipment spares, Bulk Materials etc.
• Knowledge of safety standards and upkeep/storage of hazardous materials and chemicals
