Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Accountant to join
our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our business objectives.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or financial
Management:
* Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations.
* Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
SERVICE CHARGE: APPLICABLE
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in
compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
o Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of
improvement.
o Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
* Audit and Compliance:
o Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
o Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, accounting standards, and
corporate policies.
o Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company
assets.
* Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
o Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
o Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure accurate budgetary planning
and control.
* Taxation:
o Manage corporate tax filings and ensure timely compliance with all tax
obligations.
o Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax positions.
o Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
* Financial Strategy:
o Support strategic planning and decision-making processes with financial
insights and recommendations.
o Evaluate investment opportunities and perform financial due diligence.
o Contribute to long-term financial planning and risk management strategies..
