Job Description
Minimum Criteria and Qualification:
* Master’s Degree qualification in the field of specialty (minimum 3-year program)
* Minimum One (I) year of clinical experience as a specialist after a Master’s Degree
* Completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) recognized by Maldives Medical and Dental Council
* Completion of 12 months’ internship after MBBS.
* Permanent Basic registration certificate from the local Medical Council of the candidate
* Age: Preferably below 55 years

Candidate Requirement
Evaluate and advise patients on the risk involved with having surgery
Perform surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury, disease, deformities and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols
Follow established surgical techniques during surgery
Prescribe preoperative and postoperative treatment and procedures
Ensure sterility in the operating room, and all equipment and instruments
Direct and coordinate activities of hospital staff for proper patient care.
Experience:
3 – 5 years
