Renaatus Projects Private Limited Hiring for General Manager Accounts & Finance at Chennai Full Time

Details of the Position:

• Designation – General Manager – Accounts & Finance, located at Chennai, TamilNadu
• Reporting to – Joint Managing Director
• Reporters – Accounts Team – 11 people, Finance Team – 4 people

Candidate Requirements:

• Educational Qualification – B. Com / M.Com and CA. Inter or CA. Qualified
• Age – Around 40 to 45 years.
• Experience – About 20 – 25 years of relevant accounting & finance experience.
• Languages – Tamil and English (Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking)

Job Description:

a) Accounting & Compliance:

1. Ensure that the Chart of Accounts are appropriate, and all entries are passed periodically in an accurate manner with proper month-end closing activities being done.

2. Ensure that all statutory levies are accounted, deducted, remitted on time with proper return filing being done and that if there are any notices, they are dealt with appropriately.

3. Coordinate with the Statutory / Tax Auditor for submission of books of accounts periodically to ensure provisional balance sheets and annual audited accounts are completed.

4. Monthly MIS reporting along with budgets to be framed and budget vs. actuals variance.

b) Finance

1. Prepare monthly budget allocation based on business requirement and cash availability and discuss with management for approval of the finance budget & handle implementation.

2. Perform the pre-final approval for all payments before it is approved by the JMD by checking the underlying documents and comparing it with the finance budget.

3. Handle relationships with all bankers for loans / project finance / equipment finance including submission of documents, periodic reports and negotiating rates.

4. Implement sophisticated financial planning to ensure that cashflows are segmented and effective planning is done at a project level, weekly including variance analysis
