You will

• Support the VP of Finance with key initiatives
• Lead a team of motivated people, to ensure current processes run smoothly
• Lead special projects for areas that the VP of Finance is overseeing
• Improve current processes and make them scalable
• Build & develop high-quality processes based on our business goals
• Create a structure to improve visibility across processes and work with cross-functional teams
• Perform due diligence on M&A activities
• Analyze P&L on a monthly basis along with EBITDA & deviation analysis
• Improve the process for Revenue recognition
• Tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses, and monitoring production KPIs
• Develop drive, analyze, and synthesize existing management reporting and give actionable insights
• Create content for internal and external purposes (company presentations, key meetings etc.)

The role WILL NOT be a good fit if you

• Are unable/unwilling to get in the weeds to understand and solve the core issues
• Can be overwhelmed with competing priorities and aggressive timelines

Experience*

• 2-3 years experience working in a high-growth start-up
• Work experience in an insurance-tech startup is a plus
• Ninja-level excel skills
• Sound understanding of financial concepts
