Job Role:
We are looking for a “Managing Editor” with at least 10 years of work experience in content writing, editing and journalism. Someone with Team handling experience and can join immediately is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Make us the most aspirational brand in the world to work with
Plan and execute the entire Editorial Content Delivery for B2B Offline (Print) and Online Magazine “The Retail Jeweller” and www.retailjewellerindia.com
Conceptualize and overlook business conferences, events and networking trade shows
Write Cover Stories and Feature articles
Manage key accounts by Interacting regularly with the top leaders of the Gem and Jewellery industry
Conducting one-on-one interviews with the top leaders and creating insightful content
Manage a team of content writers, Source content, Edit Articles, Proofread, and ensure error-free Print and Online content
Travelling to India and Middle East to attend all the B2B shows and Awards/Conference events, to meet people and develop content
Support all our own proprietary events, press releases and online content for sponsors / marketing
Required Skill Set and Experience:
Journalist with 10 to 25 years of Print and/or Online Features Writing Experience
Excellent communication and team management skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and result-oriented
Ability to display super initiative and work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Digital Mediums and ability to research and work on new media
