Roche Hiring for Financial Analyst at Pune Full Time

Roche is hiring finance professional who will establish and maintain strong partnership with internal Finance colleagues as well as Business Partners as required. Support planning activities, fit for purpose information, and financial closing activities. Understands and lives the Finance Framework, mindset and behaviours.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• To provide accounting and vendor-related inputs from the affiliate to the Shared Services team in Malaysia on a day-to-day basis (in relation to vendor invoices, monthly accruals, etc.)
• To act as a bridge between the finance department and RIS India employees in relation to payroll, T&E reimbursement, Corporate Credit Card administration and other employee finance-related matters
• To prepare and facilitate vendor, statutory and employee salary payments using the company’s internal and external payment platforms
• To be responsible for (non-statutory) financial compliances in accordance with local regulations such as STPI, LEI, MSME, FLA, ITES, etc.
• To provide inputs from the affiliate to auditors, tax agents, bankers, government bodies and company secretarial firm for all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirement compliances
• To be actively involved in implementation of various advanced modules/systems related to SAP, One T&E/Concur, Corporate Credit Card, etc. at RIS India
• To have an overall sound understanding of accounting principles and Indian taxation matters (both direct and indirect tax) as well as familiarity with enterprise financial systems, especially SAP
• Supporting finance planning activities, processes, and projects such as cost center planning, allocations, capital expenditures, and other investments planning, as well as global finance projects. Create efficiency and consistency by continuously driving opportunities to harmonize, pool, & simplify finance processes.
• Utilizes specialized knowledge of specific work processes or areas and contributes to special accounting and financial projects as required.
• Strive for consistency and efficiency by finding opportunities to harmonize, pool, and simplify finance processes while sustaining or improving the stakeholder experience.
• Be an advocate and role model for agile and new ways of working as well as the desired mindsets, behaviors, and culture and play a catalyst role in mobilizing the organization toward that ambition.
• Drive collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality services across different chapters, sites, and business stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• The prospective candidate should possess knowledge in Finance & Accounts, General Ledger Accounting, Record to Report, and Financial Statements.
• Experience on SAP, SAP Concur preferred.
• Familiarity with financial, HR and payroll systems with consulting experience is a plus
• Knowledge of MS applications like Excel / Word and G Suite (Google Docs and Google Sheets) would be an added advantage.
• Need to have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Analytical skills
