Key Accountabilities
- To provide technical and expert advice across Aerospace programmes with a particular focus on design and supply chain production support
- Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data
- Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in-service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified to professional engineering degree level or equivalent in Material Science. Other qualifications, in combination with relevant experience, may also be considered.
- Good understanding of Gas Turbine Engines and its components within the aerospace industry is desirable.
- Good written and inter-personal skills in a global work environment.
- Candidates should be highly numerate with strong technical and analytical skills, problem-solving ability and capable of systems level thinking, including personal drive, excellent communication and presentation skills, and will need to contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Candidates will be expected to take the lead in identifying project requirements, specifying and executing packages of work.
