Our engines power aircraft in every major sector, including transport, combat, patrol, trainers, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

An opportunity has arisen for a number of Procurement Operations Agent’s to join the Rolls-Royce Global Business Support (GBS) function in our expanding Bangalore office. The role delivers procurement services that purchase parts that go into our aerospace engines (Direct Procurement) or buys general goods and services (Indirect Procurement) to support the company. These services are provided in a standardized way and are delivered from a shared service model.

Key Accountabilities

Sourcing – Responsible for the successful delivery of actions needed to close ‘tickets’ raised by our service line users.

Processes and Procedures – You will follow operational procurement processes with rigor, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating these to the Process Centre of Excellence.

Customer Service – You will regularly update the service user on the status of their tickets to ensure they have visibility of progress and to priorities their user experience.

Culture – You will support the embedding and the sustainment of a culture that is high performing, prioritises people, routinely follows standard process whilst looking for opportunities for controlled continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Experience

Experience of transactional delivery, operational buying or delivery in a shared service environment.

Capable of processing high volumes of repeatable tasks at high levels of accuracy, including effective prioritisation to maximise output.

Strong IT skills across several applications, providing ability to quickly learn our procurement systems (SAP/Ivalua/Coupa)

Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures, and ways of working.

Superb English – spoken and written and Strong user experience focus.
