RPG Foundation has been set up to undertake activities in the field of social welfare and reform. The Foundation is established in 2009 and registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, Registered under section 12AA and 80G of Income Tax Act and Registered with Central Government for undertaking CSR Activities as per Companies (CSR Policy) Rules. RPG Foundation is the implementing partner to execute all CSR and social reform activities for RPG group of companies.
Job Title: Member – Accounts & Finance
The role-holder will assist in directing and controlling all Accounts & Finance related operations of the organization to ensure that financial & commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities also include helping in directing and controlling operation related activities to ensure efficient and effective utilisation and projection of funds.
Responsibilities:
I. Financial Accounting: –
§ Complete responsibility of RTR – Record to Report process and PTP – Procure to Pay Process.
§ Monthly accounts closing by taking necessary provisions, accruals, etc.
§ Ledger Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation
§ Record Keeping
§ Maintain and update Fixed Assets Register, Tagging Assets, Physical Verifications
II. MIS and Data Analysis: –
§ Preparation of Monthly MIS
§ Preparation of Weekly Fund Position and Investments
§ Status update – Company Wise, Project wise, Location Wise and Partner wise MIS
§ Assist in preparation of MIS and other reports as required by Management Members.
III. Statutory and Secretarial Compliances:
· Secretarial Compliances for Section 8 Company like Filing of ROC returns, Maintaining Minutes and Secretarial Registers, Calling Board Meetings and General Meetings, etc.
· Ensuring strict compliance of Income Tax, GST, EPF, ESIC, Profession Tax, Trust Act, Companies Act, Shop & Establishment Act and other application Laws.
· Regular update of Compliance Calendar and fortnightly review with Finance Head.
IV. Banking and Funds Flow Management:
· Verify, process payment, and record various spends and receipts in Foundations.
· Planning of fund flows to get funds from CSR Companies on regular and timely basis.
· Investment in FDRs, Interest & TDS accounting
V. Audits: –
§ Attending Internal Audits, providing documents, data and clarifications, implement recommendations and ensure to avoid negative comments,
§ Attending Impact Assessments, Management Reviews and Information requirements
§ Assist to co-ordinate and evaluate the financial programmes (budgets/tax plans) and its supporting information systems
§ Design, develop and implement systems, policies and procedures to facilitate internal financial control
VI. Other Assignments: –
Complete assigned task as allocated within the team.
Requirements
§ Qualification – CS / CS(Inter) and CA / MBA-Finance or Equivalent Professional Degree
§ Exp – 7+ yrs (Prior work experience in Secretarial Department/Accounts /Finance Dept) (NGO / Social Sector experience preferred)
§ Professional knowledge of Tally-Pro Accounting Software, MS Office Tools, Expense Management Software and Online Meeting Platforms like MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
§ Proficient in Data Analytics, Charting, MS Excel Automation and Interactive Dashboards.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
