The Leave of Absence Hub Leader (DTP25092023) will be responsible for managing the Leave of absence activities and this role will be a customer facing and will receive task via ServiceNow and Workday for USA region.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a case worker and have a thorough understanding of federal and state leave legislation (such as the FMLA, California Family Rights Act, Anti disability discrimination laws, pregnancy disability leave, donor leave, and the ADA) and how they interact.
• Effectively communicates with employees during and after the leave administration process; resolves employee questions and documents conversations as necessary.
• Processes and administers leave-of-absence requests and paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
• Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
• Train new hires on end-to-end process along with the HRIS and Workflow tools, this will involve developing Training plans and daily activity plans for new hires, conducting assessments, and providing feedbacks for improvement.
• Monitor metrics / KPIs, gather customer feedback, and determine areas for improvement.
• Ensure all process trainings have been attended, queries raised and clarified to execute smooth flow of process.
• Updating Process Related Reports and Documents with SOP’s and DTP’s
• Ensure the team delivers a consistent efficient, effective, and excellent service always, meeting, and exceeding SLAs and performance targets.
• Ensures that self and team members update HR & Payroll systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
• Utilize the CORE framework of tools to continuously improve processes, quality standards and process compliance.
• Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Effective and logical decision-making skills based on eligibility and review for entitlement, does not hesitate to request pertinent and required data when necessary, from employee
• Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
• Create, abide, and inspire team members to follow all operational controls put in place, including process guidelines and checklists.
• Develop suggestions for process improvement to boost the effectiveness.
• Champion the cause of customer centricity
• Always ensure a ‘customer first’ leadership by consistently and proactively role modelling excellent customer service
• Accountable for the day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring clear SLA’s and KPI’s align to effective and positive employee experience.
• Ability to analyze complex information, define and solve problems.

Qualifications & Skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HR shared services and People Systems with at least 4 years of hands-on experience on the US leave of absence process along with applications such as Workday modules, (e.g., Advanced Comp and HCM) is required and ServiceNow case management and resolution experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of key People processes and practices, from both technical and client points of view, to ensure the People Systems meet organizational needs and goals.
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate such needs into technical process and configuration requirements.
• Able to multi-task and manage different stakeholders with different cultures.
• Excellent communication (Verbal and written) and Presentation skills.
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Work in US shift timings (06:30 PM – 03:30 AM IST).
