• Become familiar with our collections and our brand voice
• Research the most prominent interior designers, architects, influencers, trade magazines, and competitors in home furnishings and high-end carpets with a stress on the American market
• Research the best SEO practices and terms to optimize our copy
• Write content for our blogs, website, newsletters, and other marketing platforms with an institutional, but simple voice
• Collaborate with fellow editors, researchers, and writers to pitch ideas and launch our upcoming magazine
• Write and edit back-end content such as meta titles, meta descriptions, alt text, keyword phrases, and keyword synonyms
• Teach your fellow teammates and monitor your progress our goal is to rank first on Google in all topics and searches in our niche
• Analyze content from competitors to improve our own

Experience and Skills

• 2-years experience as a content creator with a portfolio of published work
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Detail-oriented copywriting and copyediting skills
• Able to research through different platforms such as social media, books, newsletter subscriptions and more
• Familiar with basic systems like Mac OS and Google Suite
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field backgrounds in textiles or interior designs is a huge plus
• Proactive in scheduling regular meetings and staying on top of others
