SA Technologies Inc. is hiring for Axle Mechanical Design Engineer (Specialist) for the Hyderabad location.
Qualification:
Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Automobile engineering or Manufacturing engineering or Industrial production engineering.
Post-graduation will be considered as added advantage
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of experience in new product design and development of Axle, Beam Axles, Transmission Design, Traction Drive, Electric Axle and Casting design
Industry type: Automotive OEM, Auto Ancillaries (Tier 1, Tier 2 category and Design services)
Responsibilities:
Experience in New Product Design and New Product Development, Project Management in Automobile / Off road transmission, Axles, Gearboxes and similar Products
Knowledge in Analytical calculations / CAE of Mechanical Transmission parts like Housing, Gears, Shaft, Shift System, Beam design etc.
Experience/ knowledge in design of Housings / Castings and Forging parts
Knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software’s like Creo 4
Sound knowledge of EV & Diesel vehicle rear Axle design, Differential, Brake system support, Manual and Automatic Transmission design, gear design standards for Spur, helical, Bevel gears, planetary gears, steering Rack and Pinion design.
Hands on Experience in Root Cause Analysis, Design Quality Tools and Methodologies like Six Sigma etc.
Expertise in GD&T / DFMEA / DFM/A/S, Design to Cost and Reliability
Experience in working with CAD resources and Trainees
Technical Design review of 3D CAD layouts of transmissions.
Capable of handling Design Projects individually
Expertise in New Product Manufacturing, Sourcing and Quality Processes
Experience in Product Validation with Reliability Engineering
