We are urgently looking for Supplier Technical Assistant cum Supplier Quality Engineer for our manufacturing company located at Sanand.

Candidate must have experience in Automobile and related industry. We are looking for Supplier Quality engineer not Quality engineer so ignore post if you have not experience in SQE or STA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

Collaborate with cross functionals on Supplier Approval activities.

Coordinate the PPAP,APQP,PSW,FMEA activities for new program launches.

Perform and monitor the Pilot batch qualification for Factory.

Maintain Complete record of the supplier activities such as performance, delivery, quality and improvement log .

Survey the new suppliers and perform the qualification process

Conduct Pre qualification and Post qualification Audits at Supplier’s site

Ensure all Engineering changes and DCN are timely updated at vendor’s database.

Coordinate with SCM and vendor for smooth execution of the outsourcing activities.

Carry out supplier and sub-supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).

Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues

Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain

Promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, MSA and FMEA

Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier development quality issues

Manage the supplier PPM, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators

Monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance understanding any commercial issues and impacts

Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact

Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures .

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in mechanical or production engineering

Minimum 5-7 years working experience in the field of Part component & Supplier Process Qualification.

Understanding in Quality management system and manufacturing system

Advance in APQP/PPAP

Experiences in Project management and oversea work across functions

Experiences in Manufacturing process audit – Quality domain

Acknowledged in Plastic injection process and metal stamping process

GB/BB certified

Advance level in PFMEA and 8DSPC application, MSA, GR&R, Cpk & Tolerances, SAP

Good in command in English

ISO9000, ISO14000

Worked with Sheet Metal Stamping and Injection Molding suppliers for part development/component procurement.
