The Responsibilities Of Radiographers Include The Following Follow all pre-procedure norms as laid down
Prepare all relevant machines/equipments/factors are set prior to performance of the test/investigation.
Process all related films and ensure that the reports are prepared concurrently.
Ensure that the reports are typed, signed by appropriate authority and dispatched to
respective department/section.
Assist the Doctor/Consultant during the performance of the investigation/test if required by the Doctor/ Consultant.
Maintain all related documentation files, registers, etc.
Keep unexposed films in readiness and in appropriately protected cabinets/containers lead-lined.
Ensure that the safety lamp is in proper functioning order.
Ensure that the cassettes are clean and available in sufficient numbers.
Ensure that all film screens are clean and kept and stored under appropriate conditions.
