Job Title:Medical Sales Representative (MSR)Location:IndiaJob Summary:The Medical Sales Representative (MSR) will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share for the company’s products within a designated territory. The MSR will achieve this by building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of the company’s products.Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Achieve sales targets and goals set by the company.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
- Increase market share by promoting the company’s products to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to healthcare professionals.
- Act as a liaison between the company and healthcare professionals to address their needs and concerns.
- Product Promotion:
- Conduct product presentations and detailing to healthcare professionals.
- Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to promote the company’s products.
- Distribute product samples and promotional materials to healthcare professionals.
- Market Research and Intelligence:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical and medical fields.
- Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities and product feedback.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market information.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex medical information.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office applications.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet with healthcare professionals and attend industry events.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet with customers and achieve sales targets.
