In this role, you will be responsible for the respective product functional area that you will be assigned. You will investigate, assess, and solve issues in new and existing code at Development Support level, as well as undertake Continuous Innovation projects, feature enhancements and new feature developments based on customer demand and product roadmap. You will need to work with high quality, reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail, and collaborate closely with your team members to ensure customer success. In your day-to-day tasks, you will need:

• High self-motivation and curiosity to learn with minimum handholding and gain deep techno-functional expertise in the assigned product areas.
• Preparedness to take up remote knowledge transfer sessions within our global development teams with minimal handholding.
• High commitment to quality, and the perseverance to perform in-depth, technical and functional analysis of complex issues faced by SAP customers and formulate appropriate solutions.
• Strong customer focus to resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining high Customer satisfaction.

• Ability to articulate technical and functional information clearly for external and internal customers and stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Ability to independently design, develop, and maintain on-going feature requests.

• Professional outlook to operate in a globally distributed organization and take full accountability and ownership of deliverables.
• High proactiveness to take up additional/new topics as needed.
• High discipline to appropriately prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs with estimated efforts, and drive topics to completion.
• Innovation mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and optimization of support activities.
• Ability to quickly ramp-up on latest AI and Gen-AI technologies, and embed them for suitable use cases in SAP’s product roadmap.

• Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
• Total 2 – 4 years of hands-on developer experience.
• High proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design.
• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP, OOABAP (mandatory).
• Prior hands-on experience in SQL, UI5, Fiori, CDS views or RAP is preferred.
• Strong domain knowledge in SAP ERP modules or SAP S/4 HANA is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.

• Strong customer focus and the ability to manage customer expectations under pressure
• High accountability and ownership, with utmost regard for quality
