JOB TITLE
Development Architect – Java (SAP Cloud Platform Integration)

ROLE
We are looking for a highly ambitious Java Development Architect to join our exciting journey in building next generation CIoud Integration Service. As part of 100+ strong engineering team, you will have opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies like Microservice based applications and containers. You will also get to experience leading infrastructure & tools from AWS, Azure, AliCloud and Messaging systems like Kafka.

• Define the architecture of the solution through architectural concept documents, and ensure technical feasibility
• Collaborate with Architect community to architect solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements (with emphasis on security, scalability and supportability)
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement mindset in the team, and showcase innovation in deliverables
• Mentor Team members and be an enabler to the team to groom next level architects
• Have a “can do” attitude with strong quality and DevOps mindset.
• Be Willing to “go the extra mile” to ensure the highest quality of experience for our customers
• Have strong social skills and be a good team player – consensus building, openness to new ideas and intercultural co-operation.

EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Master Degree in computer engineering or equivalent subject
• 10 to 15 years of experience in product development in Java and related technologies like Core Java, Spring, JDBC, JMS, REST, Kafka.
• Must have hands on experience of at least 5 years in designing and developing highly scalable cloud native applications using Java/J2EE stack with expertise in latest architectures/design like Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Event Driven programming among others.
• Good knowledge of OOAD, algorithms, data structures, multithreading, design patterns, programming best practices
• Experience of working in an Agile Software development environment and teams.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Contribution to open-source community, publishing technical papers and filling patents will be an advantage
• Understanding of SAP BTP and Certification in AWS or GCP will be a plus.
