Within SAP Solution Delivery Center, we are looking for an experienced Business architect with proven experience in bulk supply chain and logistics across industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Mining.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Transformational Leadership
• Exhibits clear alignment and cooperation across Client and SAP teams, especially with Business Transformation, Value Engineering, Software Pre-sales and Solution Principals.
• Evaluates, designs, and develops solution architectures and re-usable architecture assets in their area of expertise.
• Drives innovation by identifying and developing new cross-customer topics.
• Self-motivated, able to work without constant direction and committed to the outcomes.
• Acts as lead or mentor to team and project members.
• Contributes to an internal SAP community (as assigned by manager); acts as a thought leader in improving & developing new tools and techniques, leads a community or actively manages the service/training portfolio.
• Enhances Knowledge Management (KM) Practice efforts along Practice Lifecycle. Rewards positive knowledge sharing behaviour and contributes to reusable content and innovation (KM)

Education And Qualifications/ Skills And Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent product knowledge, especially SAP solutions for Bulk Logistics and supply chain across Oil & Gas, Chemicals and mining.
• Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager experience is preferred.
• Experience in Architectural and leadership roles

Work Experience

• Minimum of 18 years’ total experience with 3-4 years of experience in an architect role in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or Mining.
• Expert in at least one industry, theme or business topic.
• Expert knowledge in functional integration and cross-solution issues.
• Proficient in Business Process Management
• Has clear understanding of information requirements, information flows and information usage within various business operations.
• Expert in applying methods of process and solution architecture modelling based on SAP and non-SAP solutions in one or more industries
• Experience in customer interaction
• Overall Corporate Strategy and SAP Product Strategy Knowledge
• Knowledge of the latest SAP Strategy (and their related pillars) including the capability to discuss this with the customer
• SAP Product Portfolio (on premise and cloud solutions, S/4HANA) / SAP standard solution and service offerings.
• SAP Next Generation solutions and services (e.g. S/4HANA, Intelligent Technologies, Cloud).
• Industry Solutions (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining).
