Business Transformation Services Senior Specialist (Data & Cloud) in Services SAP is responsible for building the business and technology scenarios, with prime focus on cloud and data, which will help customer in their cloud journey & translating data insights into business action. Your focus will be on building customer technical architectures and roadmaps to their target cloud landscape & sound data strategy, liaising with SAP experts, running technical assessment workshops with the cloud delivery team, and ensuring a clear migration path to successful cloud adoption. Architects consult the customers on all types of Services available, with the end-goal of building the path into a digitized future for them, focusing on our latest technology as well as our entire portfolio of Services and Solutions. Core tasks include:

• Acts as an Advisor on an application/solution, technology, with specific focus on Cloud migration and building of data intelligence framework for process performance management
• Assess the as-is situation as well as the business goals of the customer and provide a structured path towards an integrated IT-Landscape as well as the relevant operational approach required for the implementation.
• Translate the desired IT end-state scenario of the customer into actionable project steps.
• Maintain key relationships with Business Leaders (including but not limited to Chief Information Officer) in the customer in order to jointly design the IT end-state and required Services / Solutions to be implemented.
• Coordinate with the different Services roles within the company (Consultants, Project Managers, etc) as well as Development and Sales organization where appropriate the delivery of the resources to implement the customer’s road-maps.

Specifically, the Senior Architecture Specialist focusing on enterprise

• Helps defining the strategic, conceptual and organizational scope for the design of the SAP-centric IT landscape, especially when customer requirements are very challenging.
• Helps staying up-to-date with newest developments driving the Digital Transformation as well as the top business trends; using this knowledge to expand the list of the SAP innovation stories with tangible customer engagements., specifically, the Senior Architect will be focusing on Cloud and large Transformation Projects
• Develop data strategy for customer on data analytics, working to ensure their adoption and health.
• Helps integrating SAP’s Cloud solutions into their overall Enterprise Architecture and helps troubleshooting success-critical customer issues related to SAP, independent of their nature
• Contributes avoiding escalations especially by proactive leadership of the customer and the deployment of an appropriate project & program governance

Additional Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP) technical architectures across services and possess good understanding and strong interest in Databases & Data management / Analytics / Technology solutions, including Open Source.
• Lead SAP BTP discussions in e.g., executive meetings, discovery sessions and technical workshops to drive broader solution value and strategy, and presentation of recommendations to customers
• Strong understanding of all aspects of cloud security (such as shared responsibility, application security, network security, identity management, identity provisioning, and roles-based access)
• Development of customer cloud adoption & migration strategies (including data). Ability to apply product & technology knowledge to improve customer adoption of SAP products, and the customer experience
• Passion to learn/develop an in-depth understanding of SAP’s Cloud Strategy , Data insights to action, performance benchmarks, relevant solution portfolio and architectural guidelines. Broad knowledge of end-to-end business processes and underlying solution capabilities.
• Technical Layer Expertise – Strength/expertise surrounding the SAP technology stack and the ability to incorporate with any major hyper scalers reference architecture. Understanding of integration techniques and strategies for SAP & 3rd party products. Experience designing multi-cloud integration strategies.
• SAP Business Partner Ecosystem Involvement – Passion for sharing with your peers and customers via knowledge sharing (industry specific events, user groups, SAP insider, TechEd, SAPPHIRE).

Experience Requirements

• University degree resp. adequate experience
• Minimum Job Experience: 10-15 Years
• Thereof in a relevant position at SAP: 3-5 Years
