Data Scientist – APJ Digital Hub

Responsible for reviewing, processing and analyzing large amounts of data related to customers, i.e., demographic, firmographic, behavioural, and intent – to help our teams better target the right customer or prospect with the right sales message. Leveraging SAP world-class advanced analytics infrastructure, and working alongside a large team of functional experts, our Data Scientist will play a key role in helping to make our sales campaigns more successful, to reveal changes in buyer behaviour and solution interest, across country, industry and segment.

THE ROLE:

• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets, to identify high propensity targets for Sales campaigns.
• Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, lead & revenue generation.
• Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations
• Ability to solve complex practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Understands the key business processes for functions they support
• Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc
• Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
