About the Team:
We are a part of the SAP Analytics Cloud team where we work with the latest cloud and mobile technologies, such as SAP Cloud Platform, Docker, JavaScript, React etc. We contribute to SAP Analytics Cloud’s success by producing web and mobile application and services that are enterprise ready, robust, reliable, and scalable.
Summary & Role Information:
We need someone who is eager to learn, a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things to work and able to work independently or collaboratively. As a Web Developer, you will be involved in building new features, enhancing existing features with a focus on performance. You will work with a diverse team of colleagues located across the globe. As a Web Developer in the scrum team, you will

• Design and develop full-stack product features based on customer and business requirements.
• Work in a cross-functional product team with end-to-end product responsibility.
• Write code that runs on browser and mobile app.
• Be responsible for one or more software components and their full lifecycle from development over test automation up to production deployment and monitoring.
• Be required to dig deep into the code to deliver a highly optimized & performant product to our customers worldwide.
• Participate in cross-team/component code reviews, software architecture & design sessions.
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement technical solutions for modern real-world business problems.
• Maintain, improve, and refactor the product and test large and complex code base.

Experience / Role Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in designing and programming web/cloud-based applications.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related technical discipline.
• Expertise in JavaScript and good hands-on experience in Typescript.
• Knowledge of XSJS and HANA is a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS, React & Redux.
• Good understanding of TDD and experience writing unit test cases and End-to-End-testing. Hands-on experience with Jest, Jasmine, Enzyme etc.
• Experience with Performance tuning with a focus on finding and fixing performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, etc. using browser debugging tools.
• Experience with building and consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jenkins & Webpack.
