Job Description

For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd., we are looking for a Purchase Specialist – Projects to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role you will be responsible for appraising and improving the sourcing activities for whom they are responsible, by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and evaluating new possibilities.
What you will accomplish together with us:

• Develop positive relationships with key vendors that deliver benefits to all parties
• Delegate and review work package with the team
• Lead a core team of Engineers and Cooperation with sub suppliers and partner companies
• Monitor and supervise project milestones during quotation and project execution
• Manage existing supplier base and identify new sources
• Work closely with Cross Functional Teams to meet deadlines
• Conduct price and contract negotiations & Establish framework agreements
• Implement costs reductions projects
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects
• Co-ordination between Suppliers & CFT to ensure smooth execution

What will convince us:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 6-8 years of purchasing experience
• Sound understanding of complex global supply chains in production companies
• Very analytical approach
• Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
• SAP software experience required
• Strong negotiation & co-ordination skills
