For Sartorius India Pvt. Ltd., we are looking for a Manager – Order Execution/Planning to join our team in Bangalore. In this role you will be responsible for leading the range of planning functions that allow Sartorius to supply high quality finished products to a worldwide marketplace on time and without shortages. The holder of this position will oversee management of the planning team by translating the forward-looking sales forecast & Orders on hand into a production plan that successfully balances cost, time and capacity.What you will accomplish together with us:

• Responsible for overseeing production, Material and Capacity planning functions

• Manage production’s use of the ERP system

• Develop and maintain monthly and annual production metrics

• Facilitate new product introductions into manufacturing

• Liaise with the stores function to ensure kits are available in time to meet build partner and production needs

• Monitor actual, current and planned costs to ensure margins are maintained across the range of products

• Manage the transfer of new products and machine variations from development into production implementation

• Liaise with the sourcing team to solve supply chain issues and determine longer term strategies

What will convince us:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in overseeing Production, Material and Capacity planning functions

• Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree (BE in Mechanical)

• Previous management experience of an SAP system

• Significant time spent working in a technical environment within a production company

• Good knowledge of engineering materials and production processes

• Effective leadership experience

• Expert Microsoft Office user and highly experienced in database usage/management

• Ability to represent the team at a senior level

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage conflict

• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
