The Advisory Team is Security Compass’ Professional Services division that specializes in offensive security, including three core service offerings: Penetration Testing, Cloud Security, and Red Teaming. We work with clients across multiple industries and geographies, including North America, Europe, and East Asia. As a Security Consultant, you’ll be reporting to a Principal Consultant in our India Team. You will be executing projects that support enterprise-wide security initiatives for our clients in North America. You will work as part of a larger team located across multiple regions. You will be expected to perform and eventually lead various penetration testing activities pertaining to application, cloud, network, and mobile security. In addition to the execution of traditional security assessments, you will participate in their refinement and improvement. You will also draft reports based on the assessment results and gathered evidence, as well as address client inquiries regarding these results. You are constantly ingesting security events and information and integrating it into your practices. You can relay that information to your colleagues and your non-technical audience with the appropriate degree of detail. What you’ll do

• Perform penetration testing against client applications, infrastructure, cloud assets, and mobile applications.
• Create deliverables such as vulnerability reports and executive reports
• Engage with our clients directly to understand their requirements, update them on project status, answer their queries, and present your report and findings
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in the information security space

What you’ll need to succeed

• A deep understanding of two or more of application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, red teaming and other offensive or defensive security domains.
• Ability to analyze root causes and deliver strategic recommendations during client reviews.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Creative thinking ability and good analytical skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving ability
