The Role

Purpose & Accountabilities: • Marketing MIEx Expert will be primarily taking the accountability for the delivery of world class MI to Marketing business leveraging the latest BI and other tools • The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise on BI tools, GSAP and GPMR data models • The candidate will also maintenance of existing automated MI landscape, troubleshoot the issues, raise incident ticket and work with IT teams on issue resolution. • The MIEx Expert will have to work in close cooperation with the respective Business teams, R&A teams, MI COE teams, Shell IT to help. Accountabilities Include: • Regular run & maintain existing solutions. • Extensive knowledge on the creation of reports and dashboards using Analysis report & BEx query designer. • Technical knowledge on SAP Business Warehouse and SAP R/3. • Resolve data and reporting issues within assigned Class of Business Accountability. • Continuous focus on improvement opportunities (ESSA) in process and content and identifies and actions opportunities to reduce complexity, promote best practices across businesses. • Work closely with other COB MI Experts to understand/share best practices with each other • Closely work with MI Experts for SFS, Opex, Capex to understand the GSAP/GPMR data models Dimensions: • Support Change Requests, Support testing & training, Manage Issue and query handling • Ensure effective communication on project delivery, MI changes and IT impacts with business partners • Lead and Support Super user network (through Integrated Supported Model) • Strong collaborative and communications skills at a variety of levels in the business and IT organizations as this position will need to work closely across the wider Finance Teams, Business teams and IT delivery partners. • Being Proactive and swift in delivery • Passion to learn Downstream Marketing business and BI tools Skills & Requirements: • Graduate/Post-graduate with previous experience in the MIEx/IKC roles or • B.Tech/B.E/MCA with 4 years of strong experience in BI tools development and deployment • Pro-active approach and the ability to identify and resolve reporting and process issues in a real-world environment • SAP HANA and Exposure to tools like Alteryx, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud is an added advantage
