Introduction:

This opportunity is for government projects and assignments at district level. The current position is initially for a period of 1 year and is extendable based on the renewal of assignment and performance.

The posting is expected to be in the District Collector’s office in any district of Maharashtra;

Roles and responsibilitiesThis opportunity is for development of District Strategy Plan to attain rapid sustainable growth in each district in the State of Maharashtra.

The following role and responsibilities are expected;

• To collect data relating to industry, economy, demography, agriculture, social parameters, etc. forming inputs for development of strategy, planning, implementation, monitoring and report preparation
• To work in collaboration of various departments in the district to attain the complete understanding of the scope, data collection and analysis
• To work on strategy plan for the district based on various aspirational and growth parameters
• To perform scientific research and methods of Focused Group Discussion, Participatory planning with various officials and stakeholders to support the strategic plan
• To perform a detailed feasibility and qualitative research with a team of experts for primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of economic developments
• To coordinate with District level executive committee
