Your profile

You should be an experienced (3+) IT professional with your graduation in Engineering or other equivalent qualification (MCA). To ensure success in this role
You should have in-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
You must have good windows administration knowledge, application support experience would be an added advantage.
Should have exposure with SQL, Scripting skills (PowerShell/Batch, SQL).
You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, good communication and analytical skills.
Working knowledge on following topics is a must:
Extensive experience in Windows Administration for server 2012/2016/2019.
Strong working knowledge on SQL, PowerShell or any scripting language.
Strong basic knowledge in IIS.
Understanding of DNS and Load Balancer concept.
Must have hands-on experience in any scripting language, database scripts and DB views
Understanding of system/application integration concepts.
Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.

Good to have skills

Application admin support like Fabasoft.
Experience with ticketing tool.
SQL server basic administration.
Experience in SAML configuration and setup.
Experience with ticketing tool like Service Now, JIRA.

Your responsibilities

Task for the administrator is Windows Monitoring of CPU, memory, and disk usage of servers, checking of log files, to recognize issues as early as possible
Approximately every three months (or when necessary to other reasons) the productive system is cloned to the test system. So, both systems have identical software versions and identical data to facilitate the analysis of errors and bug fixing.
Installation and Rollout of new versions – bugfixes and new releases
One time per year a new version of application interface to be installed on the server
Changes in different interfaces that are associated with the application
Bug Fixing and Changes in DB Views and Scripts
SAML configuration on new system, renew certificate, analyze issue and bug fixing
