We make real what matters. This is your role

Maintain BU level tracking record (through spreadsheet) for all expected, in progress and completed shipments with timestamp + costs. This record is to be updated at least on weekly basis.

Providing prior alerts to project teams on arrival/ berthing dates.

Support GP EPC community in all their bids / tenders with respect to Logistics Cost

Finalize individual LOG Service contracts wherever necessary in connivance with Procurement Function (e.g. SLA)

Timely reporting of CNI and other Logistics relevant KPIs after aligning Savings Reports with GP EPC LOG community for Logistics commodities

Drive implementation of common methods & tools for Logistics such as AXIT, etc.

Early involvement in sourcing/ localization decision along with Procurement community with clear focus on logistics costs

Perform supplier days & workshops on regular basis for logistics service suppliers.

Evaluation of logistics vendor claims.

Ensure Logistics costs incurred during the execution of projects do not exceed the budget provided at the time of bidding.

Actively support the CPMs for routine operational logistics activities for domestic as well as export projects.

Interface between the project community as well as logistics service provider for all aspects such as performance, billing, payments, etc.

Driving resolution in cases where shipments are stuck/ delayed during transit or with customs.

Liaison with CHA and customs authorities on stuck cases.

Providing reports on a regular basis to help them understand the logistics scenario prevailing in GP EPC community
