1. Job contents: The primary contents of the work will be: • Able to design aux. system distribution and efficiency studies of AIS and GIS Substation, FACTS, BESS system. • Perform independently SLD, HV, LT Cable sizing, Load list, Battery Sizing, relay coordination. • Knowledge of FACTS, AIS and GIS substation. • Sizing calculations / Equipment selection (Aux. Transformer/ MV / LV / DC / Battery / Battery charger / UPS) • Basic Knowledge of SCADA, SAS architecture. Having a basic concept of signal list and I/O count. • Knowledge of different communication protocol. • Having knowledge of PIDS, CCTV, electrical fence. etc. • Basic concept of substation protection system. • Ability to develop lux level calculation, illumination layout etc. • Knowledge of load flow, short circuit studies and relay setting etc. • Prepare customer proposals including BOM, BOQs, RFQ etc. • Perform the offer review and vendor drawing review of Power distribution board, Aux. transformer, automatic voltage regulator, battery and battery charger, cable etc. • Design basis reports, preparing specification of electrical systems. • Basic understanding of interfaces with primary, secondary, civil & mechanical engineering. • Possess good communication, interpersonal skills and willing to work in inter disciplinary teams. 2.Desirable technical skills: • Basic understanding of FACTS, AIS, GIS, BESS technologies. • Basic Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and High Voltage Engineering. • Proficiency of aux. system design, LT coordination, Load flow, Relay setting, short circuit study, efficiency study. • Familiar with AUTO CAD, ETAP, MS-Office, Dialux etc. 3. Experience • 8-12 Years 4. Qualifications required: You should be a graduate (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Power Engineering with power systems as major subjects.
