Sigaxas Steel Hiring for Finance and Accounts Manager at Chennai Full Time

You will be responsible for managing end to end activities of the finance department’s requirements of the company. You will handle all the payables, receivables, monthly reporting, business expenses, taxation, statutory & other compliances, Bank related activities and cash flow preparation. We look forward to bringing transparency, efficiency and discipline to the system in the true sense. When the company will plan to expand operations you will be responsible for expanding the finance team according to the company’s requirement.

Your role:

Here is the list of activities that you will be responsible for to begin with:

• Handle all employee related payments that are Payroll, Statutory, TDS, PF, ESIC. (Statutory), Reimbursements, F&F.
• Statutory Compliances / Income Tax, Services Tax, VAT, GST & other tax-related matters of all units, Monthly data of GSTR1 / GSTR3B, tax payment, excess/ short GST data working, etc.
• Handle day to day cash flow, invoicing, reporting as per the management needs.
• Bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation.
• MIS statement.
• Completes external audit by analysing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Last but not the least understand, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations and ordinances and apply complex guidelines affecting the section activities; interpret governmental accounting rules and regulations.

The role is based in Chennai.

Who will be a right fit?

• Education: B.com/M.com with advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Relevant experience: At Least 3 years of Finance and Accounts management in a corporate environment. Experience in Start-up or Import – Export business would be an advantage.
• As a person: You should be organised, detail oriented with good oral/verbal communication skills.
