Job Profile:
• The Security Specialist has to work on four main areas: (Support, Monitor,
Report)
• The Security Specialist is also in charge to provide and organize all
documentation in the SharePoint folders.
• The Security Specialist is responsible of the Security Assets and the quality of
information inside the CMDB.
• The Security Specialist should also participate to IT Security Project where
his/her expertise is required. • Ticket processing
• Security Incident: – In case of Security incident and especially Major Security
Incident the Security Specialists should follow the specific Security Incident
procedure.
• The security Specialist should monitor daily:
1. Antimalware alert (End users, Servers) : CB or Bitdefender Console
2. Email Spam: CES or Phishing mailbox
3. Alert on threats and disrupting adversary behaviour: Carbon Black
4. Alert on outbound user Internet traffic, emails for malicious URLs and
attachments with Firepower/CB/CES
• During the Week the security specialist should analyze the following area to get an
updated status
1. Check Backup/restore evidence
2. End point/ Server Antimalware status 3. End point/ Server Patching Status
4. Endpoint & servers vulnerability 5. Security Incidents
6. Hardening
7. Physical Access Security 8. User Account Validity 9. Unusual User Activity
10. User Identity and logical Access (summary)
• During the month the security specialist can focus on all the other security controls
required by Icosit
1. Content filtering
2. Endpoints & Servers hardening 3. Lockdown mechanism status
4. Physical Access Security
5. User Identity and logical Access (Detailed)
• On a weekly basis the Security specialist should produce a Light Security report to
be discussed in the corresponding meeting with the Local Operation Manager and
local support manager to engage the actions during the week
• On a monthly basis the weekly report will be replaced by a global monthly Security
Report more detailed (no need to do the local one).
• Asset Management: All Security equipment/software should be stored into the
CMDB. The Security specialist should improve regularly the quality of the information
in the CMDB and be sure all equipment is properly tagged

The basic information to have been mainly:
1. Tag reference
2. Description of the equipment
3. Location
4. Purchased date
5. End of Warranty
6. Date created / modified / Deleted
7. Status
• ICOSIT Campaign: Every Quarter the Operation Manager has to produce a complete
ICOSIT report with all the evidence for the ICOSIT controls. The Security Specialist will
be solicitated at this time to help the operation Manager.
