Who is a Manager – Government Relations at Sistema.bio?
Reporting to the Business Development Director, this position is expected to provide the necessary liaison between the organization and legislative entities which will enable the organization to achieve its business targets.
You’ll be in charge of:
Researching, monitoring, and studying government policies that are relevant to an organization’s business activities.
Assisting senior management with strategic planning for government programs related to the business.
Building and maintaining professional relationships with decision-makers of local, state, and central government entities.
Joining trade associations and industry committees to participate in relevant events and conferences.
Collaborating with industry advocates to build areas of common interest.
Represent before government committees in support of the policies relevant to the organization and/or industry.
supporting legislative and public policy changes that are aligned to the organization’s activities.
Preparing documents required as per various rules and policies to empanel the organization in relevant Govt. programs.
More about you:
You have an Engineering / MBA degree with 7+ years of proven experience in building Govt. relations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrable track record of semi-govt./govt. institutional partnerships.
Proven ability to build, manage and develop multi-stakeholder relationships.
You are extremely passionate about the potential for impactful enterprises to drive sustainable development and improve farm productivity.
Strong government contacts at local, state, and central levels and talent for building strong relationships with government bodies.
Highly self-motivated and ability to work autonomously, take initiative and make decisions.
Substantial experience in project proposal writing and management.
Comfortable to travel for business requirements.
