Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Product development, Buying & Merchandising of bottoms & Topwear
• Work closely with the marketing team & retailers across all aspects of distribution, pricing, product development & sourcing.
• Prepare and study sales reports. Fast-moving products, Vendor wise sales, Collection wise sales, Banner wise sales, sales on replenishment products.
• New and innovative concept development.
• Sourcing fabric for the season from manufacturer/Mills and dealer India.
• Cost sheet creation & Vendor management.
• To ensure a right buy mix high fashion, commercial & basic styles at the floor & working closely with suppliers to ensure that we have a healthy pipeline of stock.
• Season-wise Merchandise planning for the category.
• Competitive market study, review, feedback, and action plan for the same.
• Order analysis of fast mover and slow movers.
• Sampling and sample follow-up with trims, accessories, and packing.
• Monitoring stock, availability & fulfillment level Vs forecast & budgeted levels.
• Day to day management of OTB, Intake & Exit stock within budgeted levels.
• Quality Audit at the factory.
• Continuous fit study and review. Monitor fits/ specs. Quality aspects on regular basis at the factory.
• Maintain inventory of fabrics, trims and regulate timely production of all materials including garment stock.
