Roles and Responsibilities

About the role

Ensure timely development, inspection, calibration and maintenance of gauges and instruments for utilization on shop floor, to prevent defect generation and line loss

Responsibilities

Timely calibration of the gauges/instruments as per schedule across the plant

• Prepare & maintain calibration records for Allthe gauges
• Develop user friendly gauges

Inspection & calibration of new model for gauges

• Plan for gauge inspection at vendor end
• Eliminate issues before mass production
• Ensure gauge availability before mass production

Inspection support and troubleshooting on shop floor to avoid line stoppage

• Plan for in-house gauge servicing
• Ensure Gauge reliability
• Provide solution for gauge error and any other cause related to gauges

Inventory management of spares & gauges
