Roles and Responsibilities

Role Chassis Buyer

Position :Senior Associate

Job Description:
Steer the procurement of components like steering, brakes, suspensions, Drive system, etc ,.for chassis development.

Leverage strong relationships with key suppliers and engineering teams to ensure optimal cost and quality while meeting the delivery targets

Drive the pricing negotiations at Ola ensuring best-in-class commodity pricing and quality standards while continuously driving cost reduction.

Ensure long-term contracts with suppliers avoiding ad-hoc negotiations.

Analyze purchasing trends, evaluate sourcing alternatives, and identify new high potential suppliers.

Skills :
Experience with procurement of chassis subsystem components like Brakes, suspensions, Drive System etc.

Excellent knowledge of the trends in the automotive sector relevant to chassis design and engineering (specially in an EV).

Experience in coordinating various procurement activities and parties.

Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.

Education & Experience :
B.E/B.Tech in Engineering or any relevant education field.

Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience.
