Roles and Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a competent Connected Vehicle tech manager who can become a member of our Core tech team. As a core member your work would be mostly focused
on development and integration of IoT platforms for the Co’s operations which includes bothICE and EVs.
You would be working cross functionally with the in-house and vendor team (both software and hardware) for innovating, enhancing and managing the IOT infrastructure (Telematics devices, Fleet management software etc.) of the said business and will work closely with the existingtechnology partners and our IT team.
You would also be responsible for developing different business development strategies related to tech for modelling of a new business vertical with other members in the project and makingit successful.
ELIGIBILITY:
Experience: 3-8 years in relevant domain
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech
Willingness to work in a startup ecosystem
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pillar 1: Hardware
Two-Wheeler Telematics device selection and fitment. Understanding of different available telematics solution in the market. Selection & Finalization of best telematics device available in the market based on trials and deep research.
Telematics device integration with all the applications requisite for operations. Hands-on experience would be preferred.
Understanding of the lifecycle of development of the product which includes the conceptualization, development and evaluation of vehicle wiring harness and telematics device for the vehicles in fleet.
Pillar 2: Operations and Business Support
Supervising device installations in the fleet.
Troubleshooting and ensuring quick measures for asset safety in operations.
Root cause analysis, countermeasure study, and simulation of various markets, assembly or other quality problems.
Optimizations of cost and performance basis the scale of the business.
Pillar 3: FMS
Telematics device integration with all the applications. Testing of all the features based on their actual application.
Fleet management software management & its enhancement with the help of
software teams.
Brainstorming with various teams on new features to improve operations and other verticals with IoT data.
Strategizing for an in-house development of the FMS which can enable us work as a SAAS player
Pillar 4: Business
Development of Innovative telematics solutions in 2W sharing domain
Developing different business development strategies encompassing the
technology.
Active engagement in ideation & operational activities.
Achieving set milestones of the proposed business model to get subsequent
funding.
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:
Must be capable for innovating, enhancing and managing hardware related technology
development.
Good knowledge for overall vehicle devices I/O.
Hands-on experience on connected vehicles & Fleet management software.
Knowledge of harness and device components etc.
Knowledge of standards (JIS/JASO/ISO) related to automotive electric parts and
particularly wiring harness
Product life cycle system knowledge, Understanding of BOM.
Knowledge of ISO 9000/ TS 16949/ ISO 14001.
Good understanding of microcontroller functioning and interfacing them with
automotive electric parts.
Working in the spirit of Start-Up environment, taking ownership for successful delivery
of time-bound projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of telematics devices usage, architecture & fitment.
Understanding about the current developments & Technologies in the Shared Mobility
Sector. Stakeholders management & hand holding
Good communication, presentation and coordination skills
Multi-tasking & good networking skills
