Soliel is seeking to hire a DevSecOps or DevOps Engineer within the Application and Services practice which is located in Tyson’s Corner, VA. This is a critical role in enabling multiple software development team’s success through automation and security best practices. This role will lead the team’s DevSecOps solutions and be part of a highly successful team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner and has a track record of creating maintaining and optimizing multiple automated CI/CD pipelines. The candidate must have full understanding of AWS Cloud technologies, various scripting languages and code vulnerability analysis. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines for management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) baseline to support provisioning of dynamic cloud-based resources in support of delivering multi-tiered HA/Clustered applications, services, databases, and capabilities using various cloud services (native, 3rd party, or hybrid)
• Working with various stakeholders to troubleshoot the platform and issues related to integrations with other internal systems
• Integrating and automating the program’s security posture
• Monitoring hardware, VM and container metrics for the purposes of maintaining cluster health and identifying thresholds for scaling

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• U.S. Citizenship
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Check Marx, Sonarqube, Artifactory, or comparable substitutes
• Knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures
• Demonstrated skill with at least one or more configuration management/scripting technology (such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
• 8+ years experience developing software or scripting with Java, JavaScript, Python or UNIX shell
• Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
• Ability to work well independently as a self-starter and in a collaborative team environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
• Experience with manual and automated security administration, remediation, and hardening (STIG reviews, group policy and permissions, system modifications based on vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations; patch management)
• AWS certified DevOps Engineer or Soups Administrator certification
• Federal Government experience is a plus
• B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
