Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Exp- 6-8 Years

Location: Hyderabad/ Indore

Job Description:

• Ability to work on multiple areas like Data pipeline ETL, Data modelling & design, writing complex SQL queries etc.

• Partner with architects in problem-solving.

• Capable of planning and executing on both short-term and long-term goals individually and with the team.

• Provides best practices, direction for data engineering and design across multiple projects and functional areas.

• Partner with Data Engineers, Data architects, domain experts, data analysts and other teams to build foundational data sets that are trusted, well understood, aligned with business strategy and enable self-service.

• Continuously evaluate relevant technologies, influence and drive architecture and design discussions

• Work with QA to define QA strategy before releasing a feature.

• Collaborate with DevOps & delegate to define the deployment strategy for a release.

• Optimize the data analytics platform periodically

Mandatory Skills:

• 4+ years of strong experience with Python, SQL and PySpark.

• Create PySpark jobs to read/write data from database like DB2 or S3.

• Design and develop ETL integration using Python on Spark.

• Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL queries.

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and HIVE.

• To work closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau desktop.

• BE/ BTech / BSC
